The first regional dialogue in Latin America and the Caribbean “On the road to equality”: 30 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child was held in Santiago in November 2018. The event was organized by the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). This event was attended by government authorities and international agencies, representatives of the United Nations system, the private sector, academia, civil society and young people.
